NYC weekend Trip

This past weekend Ashley and I flew to New York City to minister at a great church and do a set-up missions trip for a spring break team.  I spoke at East-side Tabernacle on the lower east-side of Manhattan.  This happens to be a sister church of the famous Brooklyn Tabernacle in NYC.  What a incredible service we had with Pastor Diaz and his wonderful people!

We have a spring break team from Central Bible College that will be partnering with this great church in NYC from Feb. 28 to Mar. 7.  They will be assisting in outreaches, services, service projects, and serving the wonderful people at East-side.  This missions team will be the first trip of the year for PI.

***Please pray with us and for us in the next few weeks...I will be traveling a lot with having 4 back to back missions trips between Feb. 28th and March 21st.  We will have a team in New York City, India, Nicaragua, and New Orleans.  God is so awesome!!!

DYD Conference and a new AIM start

This weekend went well at the national DYD conference in Branson, MO.  Both Doug and I attended the event along with one of our interns from CBC Logan Miller.  AIM is a program in the Assemblies of God the provides a vehicle for students from across the United States to Go on a short-term missions trip.  We are one of the five AIM affiliates in the Assemblies.  God continues to open great doors for us to facilitate short-term opportunities.

The National Youth Ministries of the Assemblies of God are wanting to see 60,000 students on trips every year.   PI is at the fore front of this vision and a major contributor to make this possible in our churches/districts across the U.S.

In less than a few weeks we have a number of teams heading out to start our 2009 year off on the missions journey of a lifetime.  Please continue to pray with us and for us as we partner together to reach the world on trip at a time!
