Trip Reports and Testimonies

It has been a great summer of trips and awesome results!  From the Bay Islands of Honduras in Latin America and then across the pond to York, England, and back state side to New York City (2 weeks) and Columbia, MO.  We had 5 back to back trips that impacted thousands of people and saw hundreds come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  PI's teams Impaced individuals, schools, hospitals, villages, jails, parks,  churches, communities, states, countries and the world.

In just five weeks, we facilitated over 320 people on short-term missions trips.  Many trip goers will never be the same because they experienced and were exposed to their original purpose in life... to "GO" to the nations of the world.  The great commission is being accomplished when people do what Jesus intended them to do.  Thank you team members for answering the prayers of many that have prayed to the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers...well done!

In the next few weeks we will be updating the Partnership website in many different ways.  One area will be for the trip goers to blog about their experiences and moments they had on their missions trip.  This will allow you and me to hear powerful testimonies first hand rather than me blogging second hand information.

New York City Missions

Images New York City has a little over 12.5 million people in its five boroughs.  What an awesome mission field to touch thousands of people.  We have a team of 100 people here in NYC impacting local churches, city parks, hospitals, jails, soup kitchens, the homeless, businesses, community ministries, and the kingdom of God!  It has been a great start of two weeks/back to back teams coming to this great city.  Next week we will have another team arriving on Saturday (65+people) to influence hundreds of people.  Please pray with us and for us these two great weeks stateside here in America. We also have another team of 50+ going to Columbia, MO today to help with a church plant, within a four weeks time period we will have facilitated 350 people on missions trips!  God is doing an awesome work through people answering the call to go to the nations!  My plan is to blog about each trip when I get the chance to sit down and gather all the stories and testimonies.

** Yesterday I spoke at a great church in Northvale, NJ.  Pastor Joel VanBriggle is doing a great job transitioning an older church to reach the greater Northvale area for Jesus!  Thanks Joel for a great weekend with you and your church family!

UK Missions

Things are going well here in England!  It has been a busy few weeks of traveling and seeing God open awesome doors of opportunity to minister to people.  I left Honduras on Monday and then flew out to Manchester, England the next day.  We have partnered with a church here in York, England called Global, their leadership is sold out completely in winning the lost by being a light in the world and not in the christian circle.  I have two teams from the US with me that are from two different states...Memphis, TN and Casa Grande, AZ.  The students and leadership on these two teams have done a great job so for this week and we are looking forward to being in schools all next week in the York area!  Please continue to join us in prayer for great things to happen!

Impacting Roatan Island

Today the entire team will be split into three different teams around thirty people per team. Each team will be ministering in different schools this morning and this afternoon.  This evening we will have three public outreaches across the island showing the "God Man Film" with dramas, preaching, prayer, and hundreds of individuals giving their lives to Jesus.  The ferry ride yesterday was a little rough for 50 of the team members, they got a little motion sickness which was not very pretty.  They all recovered just fine and everyone is doing well today!  Doug flew in last night to take over the team and I'm flying back to the states to get on another plane to take me to the UK to start up the next team.  God is doing a great work through his people answering the call to go to the nations, He always honors His plan!

** This Honduras team is the first team to ever distribute the Book Of Hope in the public schools on Roatan Island.  Awesome things are happening!

Heading to Honduras

HondurasCOEmap The summer trip schedule is ON!  I'm excited about all the trips we have this summer and what God is going to do through people answering the call to go to the nations.  The team we are facilitating is made up of six different states and a number of churches from across the United States.  This trip is from June 27th through July 5th.  We will be in many schools handing out the "Book of Hope" and showing the "God Man Video" in the evenings at community parks/squares.  This team of 80 + will impact thousands of people this week for Jesus...please pray that God moves upon the entire Island of Roatan!  I will continue to post blogs when I can through-out the next month with th five trips we have back to back.  God has given us great favor already...please pray for the teams health, opportunities, safety, and great results for the Kingdom of God!

** I'm waiting to board my flight here at Pittsburgh, I should land in San Pedro Sula around 9:05PM tonight.  The teams will fly out tomorrow from their different locations to meet up with me in Honduras.

The Author of our Story

PhotoJared Bellan
Today I have the privilege to marry one of my former students and someone who I had the opportunity to mentor in my ministry. Jared has an awesome testimony of God's grace, deliverance, and call upon his life.  Jared's Testimony
I remember the very night I crossed paths with Jared, he just got out of jail and gave his life to the Lord through an outreach event called "The Tribulation House".  The Lord clearly pointed Jared out to Ashley and I that he was going to be touched in a powerful way.  God is truly the "Author of our Story", His word tells us that He is the author and finisher of our faith.  God has already wrote some incredible chapters in Jared's life, but today starts a whole new chapter.  Jared is marrying another one of my students that came to our youth ministry at Beaver Falls First Assembly, Jared and Melissa will be joining their lives together in the fulfillment of God's word in Genesis 2:24 "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."  Some of the greatest privileges in ministry is to see God direct the steps of someone who you invested in for the kingdom.  Jared has just completed his certification with the Penn-Del District of the Assemblies of God and is walking out the great call on His life.

Going after your dreams

Picture 2 Growing up in the same county and in the same community as Rocco Mediate, I was pulling for my home town golfer.  The US Open is one of the four majors that's played during each year on the PGA tour.  It was a great show both Sunday and today in the 18 hole playoff at Torrey Pines.  Tiger Woods pulled off his 14th major victory this afternoon by making a par on the sudden death playoff hole following the 18 hole playoff that ended up a tie.  45 year old Rocco sure played his heart out by keeping up with the #1 golfer in the world.  What a great battle it was to watch two people go after their dreams!

**speaking of dreams...My desire in our ministry is to see thousands of hurting, helpless, and hungry people impacted and touched by the power of God's word and the fulfillment of the Greatest Dream...the great commission!

MobileME

Picture 1
Technology continues to advance in a way that we can better stay in-touch with world news, current events, email, data, and most importantly people.  The new Mobile Me from apple is going to provide a new innovated way to always stay updated with push email, push contacts, and push calendar.  This type of software/program will allow you to update a contact on your phone and within seconds your computer at home and work will receive those updates without connecting or taking timeout to sync that information.  This will save time, frustration, provide organization, and create a way to always stay on top of things in your life.  For those of us who travel and provide networking resources to many partners...this is exciting news!

I also like the name MobileME when it comes to missions and what God has called the church to be about in this world.  My prayer today is that God would MobileME to places of influence and impacting results for the kingdom!

Kansas City Trip

I just got home last night from being in KC this week.  I had a great opportunity to connect with some pastors and continue the process/development on the Partners Cup for this coming fall.  Doug Reed and myself had some divine moments with different ones who have joined the team this year to make this charity golf outing a great success to PI and many who will be a part of missions trips in 2009.  I'm excited about the shift we are making with the golf tournament this year in that we are making it an invitational golf tournament.  We will be inviting 120 individuals to participate which will allow us to have 60 two man scramble teams.  We currently in the process of securing a comprehensive corporate sponsor to make this all possible for the CUP this fall.

** This past month we have seen many connections develop to bring great favor for many incredible missions projects/trips for 09.  Please continue to pray for the details that are coming together.  We should be able to get a 2009 preliminary schedule out in the next two weeks for the 15 trips we are developing for next year's calendar year.
